Women & Wine Gathering

Our first gathering of 2026 will give us 10 days to come together around a table and enjoy the food, wine, and culture of this unique intersection of Spanish and Portuguese influences along the old "smuggler's route" between Portugal and Spain. We'll stay in a charming guesthouse perched across from the hilltop fortress of Marvão with cozy two bedroom apartments, a beautiful terrace, and a natural wine bar and restaurant on site.

We'll visit local wineries, tour vineyards and olive groves, meet winemakers focused on low intervention, sustainably made wines, and enjoy contemporary takes on traditional foods from Iberia. From elaborate multi-course meals in Michelin starred restaurants to informal and fun Portuguese taverns and Spanish tapas joints we'll sample some of the best this area has to offer.
