About the event
Most of the women who join my gatherings are experiencing big life changes and fatigue from a lifetime of caring for others while neglecting themselves. Many are navigating things like career change or retirement, caring for aging parents, adult children leaving home for the first time, changes related to perimenopause/menopause, separation or loss of loved ones, or sometimes all of the above at the same time. They seek the quiet comfort of being with other women who understand.
Throughout all of my midlife changes, migrating to Portugal, and my own confusing journey with perimenopause my conversations with other women were the best medicine. While women come here not knowing anyone, within the first few meals conversations often quickly move beyond "where are you from" and "what do you do" to the tender topics that are closer to our hearts.
